In order to help the children of the farmers who committed suicide due to drought by sponsoring their education in undergraduate and post graduate programs at IGI campuses with the motive to provide them better opportunities to live and build their career.

Incubation Centre (IC)
The incubation Cell (IC) addresses development of product/Services using upcoming technologies in the institute which is incubated by budding developers who are the students of ICCS. The head of Incubation Cell of the Institute appraises each incubation proposal and the business plan based on pre-defined criteria. All the funding for the projects in incubation center are taken care of by the management. The activities in the IC include product development, product innovations, software testing, simulation and prototyping, pilot experimentation, along with our major ongoing project of Virtual Reality.
Under Parent Teacher Association, a short meeting or conference between the parents and teachers is conducted to discuss students’ progress at college and find solutions to academic or behavioral problems. A Parent Teacher Meeting helps to communicate with parents about the areas their children are excelling in or lagging behind. This meeting focuses on the academic improvement of the students’, their attendance, counselling and their overall performance in the college. The teachers also guide and mentor the students during this session.
Under Faculty Development Program, the college organizes Indira Faculty Efficiency Enhancement Programme (I-FEEP) for versatile development of faculties of the institute. The aim of this program is to enrich quality teaching and to improve and update teaching skills and strategies. This program focuses and motivates the faculties to keep updated their knowledge according to the improved changes and imparts training for stress management. Dignitaries from various fields are invited to guide the faculties to enhance their overall performance.
Research Lecture Series
For the affluence and enhancement in quality research of students as well as faculties a lecture series of research program is organized by the college. Dignitaries from various stream enrich the students and teachers with their valuable guidance and views.
Students development program like ‘Youth Parliament’ in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India is organized in ICCS. In order to make students aware of the actual parliamentary work and to know the role of the ministers and the citizens this program proves to be vital. Students actually create a mock parliament and participate in healthy discussions and debate about various issues with fruitful outcome and solutions which is the real success of this program. This program is significant as the young minds get a platform to express their views and opinions.
To monitor, observe and to keep check on malpractices by the students on daily basis during examination an internal squad is maintained by the college. This squad takes action against copy cases if any and prepares daily report of examination.
Smoking Free Campus
Smoking free campus prevents major diseases and demonstrates a good health, with this objective the college has imposed strict rules for prohibition of smoking. For the enforcement, a display of sign boards regarding no smoking is displayed in every zone of the college. In addition to this CCTV’s are also kept working to prohibit smoking. Procedures are implemented to the violators of the rules. Counselling regarding this is also done by the mentors.
With the motive to save electricity and to increase the usage of natural resources the college has planned to install Solar Panels in the campus. Major steps for the installation are being taken by the college.
With the aim to help the needy students financially the college has organized the earn and learn scheme under which the poor students are employed in the college campus so that they can suffice their college financial needs.
It’s a monthly meeting held in the college between class teachers and faculty members along with the mentor to discuss about the progression of the syllabus. Suggestions are given regarding completion of syllabus, queries of students and solutions to the various problems posed by students.
The college conducts value added courses for the students to upgrade their profile and to enhance their personal skills.
The value added courses such as Competitive examination course is conducted in the college for the students. ICCS started a competitive Exam Centre in July 2019 to provide integrated coaching to students by experts on such competitive exams as UPSC/ MPSC/ SSC /NDA /CDS/ BANKING. The center marks the fruitful culmination of all the lectures and efforts in the last four years that aimed at convincing and mentoring students about the successful career and job prospects of these courses. Indira College of Commerce and Science is organizing various seminars on career guidance by experts for the students.
A Certificate course in Foreign Languages like German, French and other languages are successfully conducted in the college with huge enrollment. Students get acquainted with the foreign language and get helped during their placements and in future profession.
With the focus to ensure that the skill-sets are fully utilized by conducting rigorous counseling sessions on a one-to-one basis is organized by the college as a part of career guidance. These sessions help students deal with their weaknesses in an effective manner. Students are put through a series of aptitude, technical and communication tests to match industry standards. Student orientation is an effort to generate quality software engineers with proper skill-sets so that they are transformed into responsible, enthusiastic and confident individuals to face the challenges of the corporate world.
The college organizes an Induction program for the first year students of all the courses. This program introduces the students with the college activities and inspires them to think and plan for their future career. Dignitaries and eminent personalities from various fields are invited as speakers to motivate the students.
Clubs and Associations
In order to provide practical experience to the students and to apply their theoretical knowledge various management clubs are formed by the college. This club activity motivates the students and provokes them to learn more about management concepts and its application in their real life. Hence the clubs like Marketing Club, Finance Club, HR club, International Club and Ethical Club are formed for the enhancement of the students.
