As a form of interactive and representational argument, debate is often thought of as a verbal duel. More comprehensive than a word-for-word argumentation, debate. Ideas and disagreements abound among students. They require a venue on which to focus their zeal and excitement. It looks at if a conclusion follows from ideas, factual reasoning, and language, which is a persuasion tactic.

Every year, the State Level Late Shri Shankarrao Wakalkar Debating Competition is held at Indira College of Commerce & Science. Students from all throughout India join, express their opinions on various subjects, and win rewards. This event's major goal is to motivate students to improve their knowledge and their debating skills.
