On the occasion of Women’s Day Celebration a session on “Hormonal imbalance & its remedies” was conducted in ICCS by Dr. Swati Bajaj on 09 March, 2020. Dr. Swati Bajaj is the founder & resource person of Mamma’s Care, a certified pilates instructor and k11 certified personal fitness trainer. All the ladies staff members found the session very useful & interactive. She not only gave practical solutions over the queries asked, but guided with improvements in lifestyle & proper diet plans.
Summary of Educational Tour to Asia Pacific University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 21st Nov – 28th Nov, 2019
A matter of pride and happiness for Indira College of Commerce and Science(ICCS) as we signed the Memorandum of Agreement(MOA) with Asia Pacific University(APU), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for imparting training programs in the area of IT, Commerce and Management to ICCS students.
Professor Ron Edwards, Vice-Chancellor of Asia Pacific University was present for the MOA signing ceremony. It was indeed a remarkable moment for Indira college and APU. We look forward for long term associations with Asia Pacific University.
The IoT training program at Asia Pacific University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 31 ICCS students started with full enthusiasm which included Arduino programming, Big Data and Data Analytics too. Students took keen interest in learning these new technology and also gained hands on experience on the same. The students learnt the IoT concepts and built an hands on project on the same which was presented by them at the end of the training program. A great learning and cultural exchange at APU.

Two day outdoor tour on Saturday & Sunday to prominent places in Kuala Lumpur was arranged by Asia Pacific University in which Batu Caves, Petronas Twin towers and Putrajaya were covered. Students enjoyed each and every moment of this fun filled excursion.

The 5 day IoT training program at Asia Pacific University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ended with the students of ICCS presenting their mini projects. SIX groups were formed and they demonstrated and presented their mini project with zeal and coaction. Certificates were awarded to all participants.
Best project, Best presenter and Best student trophies were awarded to the students.

With this objective a seminar was conducted to create awareness among girl students about their safety and security while dealing with society. She explained various legal norms of Indian Penal Code, 1860 for various offences, their provision and measures. She also discussed major cases, happened in India, like Mathura’s Case, Bhanwari Devi case, Aruna Shawnbaug’s case, Kharlangi case, Shakti mills case, Kathua case which made amendments in the Law for Women’s security. She explained need of statutory bodies at workplace like ICC, LCC, Anti-Ragging Committee and women grievance cell. She also elaborated precautionary measures to be taken by every women to avoid such consequences. Seminar was very informative and was well appreciated by all the participants.
