 Objective of the visit:

To pertain the knowledge about the management and industrial acquaintances of the finest company in the country.

About PARLE G:

Parle Products has been India’s largest manufacturer of biscuits and confectionery for almost 80 years. Makers of the world’s largest selling biscuit, Parle-G, and a host of other very popular brands, the Parle name symbolizes quality, nutrition and great taste. With a reach spanning even to the remotest villages of India, the company has definitely come a very long way since its inception.

Many of the Parle products – biscuits or confectioneries, are market leaders in their category and have won acclaim at the Monde Selection, since 1971. With a 40% share of the total biscuit market and a 15% share of the total confectionary market in India, Parle has grown to become a multi-million dollar company. While to the consumers it’s a beacon of faith and trust, competitors look upon Parle as an example of marketing brilliance.


First of all our Faculty took the Pass from security incharge for gate entry into the industry. Then we all are moved to Auditorium of Parle G. One of the employee of Parle G showed us one PPT regarding the Parle G. In that he told us the overall History of the industry, then he showed us their Management Hierarchy and Production processes of Parle G Biscuit and all other products. After that he showed us animated video about all Parle G products.

After that we saw the actual production process of Biscuits and “Kachha Mango Bite” chocolate. They showed us whole industry.

After successfully observing the Production process and Management System, we were offered small refreshment.

Later at 2.30 pm we justify back for college.

Outcome of Visit to Parle G:

Students understood the management processes, punctuality and the discipline in the Industry. Furthermore, the security management, the dress codes and moreover the realm of the company were known.
