Continuing with the trend from past four years, the 5th National Conference as mentioned in the title was organized on 22nd and 23rd December, 2016 with full zeal and energy.

 The conference was inaugurated by Chief Guest Hon’ble Dr. Pandit Vidyasagar, Vice-Chancellor of SRTM University, Nanded and Guest of Honor Mr. Sanjay Katkar, Co-founder, MD and CTO of popular Antivirus company QuickHeal Technologies. The presiding dignitary was Prof.Chetan Wakalkar , Group Director, Indira Group of Institutes. Also accompanying all dignitaries were Dr. Sanjay Kaptan, Dr. Janardan Pawar and Dr. Anjali Kalkar. The venue for the glittering inaugural function was Dhruv Auditorium.





Inter Collegiate Volleyball Tournament on 14th September 2016

Indira College of Commerce and Science Organised Inter Collegiate Volleyball Tournament at Deccan Gymkhana Club. Total 24 team(250 players) participated. Many well known personalities from sports field were visited the event like International Referee Izaz Shaikh, International Volleyball Coach Mr. Devidas Jadhav… Prize distribution was done by Mr. Devidas Jadhav.


Olympic Stamps Exhibition on 13th and 14th September

Indira College of Commerce and Science have organized “Olympic Stamps Exhibition” on 13th and 14th September, 2016. Apart from various Olympic Stamps, Stamps of various other sports were also exhibited. The Exhibition featured stamps from across the world


Workshop on Cisco Networking Cum Championship

Two days workshop on Cisco Networking Cum Championship has been conducted successfully at Indira College of commerce and Science, Pune on 10 and 11 September, 2016 by Team NCSC and VirNet_Solutions, 105 student participated in this workshop…..



Indira Presentation League


Indira College of Commerce and Science’s annual event IPL (Indira Presentation League) is a competitive presentation event, in which teams of first years execute presentations after training from their seniors, giving them a chance to bond and improving their presentation skills.


Inauguration of Lingo Savvy


The first inauguration  took place  at ICCS campus on Wednesday, 7 September 2016 in the presence of Dr. Anjali Kalker and Dr. Janardan Pawar. The inauguration, which set a record attendance for any event held at ICCS, marked the commencement of a software on speech typing .As the speech will be given it will type automatically in English, Hindi, and Marathi language. This software is widely accepted by Media and Police. ICCS Alumni “Chaitanya Choradiya” developed the software .Further, this software will be upgraded to work on other regional languages.


M.Sc. (Comp.Sc.) Outdoor Management Training

ICCS conducted outdoor management training on 30th July 2016 for M.Sc – I . The training took place from 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m at IIMP IT campus. Total 33 students participated in OMT. It was comprised of 4 management games. The aim of this training was to highlight students’s hidden talents and capabilities, increase their level of self-confidence, increase their ability of learning, behavior change ,leadership development and management development and also they develop the spirit of team building among them.


F.Y.B.Sc. (Comp.Sc.) Outdoor Management Training

Venue: IT Campus, IGI, Tathawade, Pune

No of Students: 120

Activities: Management games.

ICCS organizes OMT for F.Y.B.Sc (Comp Sc) students as part of extra-curricular activity which helps to boost their confidence, build team management skills and increase interaction among the students. It also helps to learn discipline and unity. It develops qualities of co-operation, tolerance, team-spirit and leadership among the students.

 All the students of F.Y.B.Sc. (Comp.Sc.) along with volunteers and faculties reported IT campus on 7th July 2016 at 8.30 am for OMT. After that, the students were divided into 8 groups. Each group was then handed over to the different team of volunteers for playing the different management games. They were supervised by faculties. The volunteers were from T.Y.B.Sc. (Comp.Sc.) class. Under OMT, students played various management games such as Sheep and Shepherd, Acid walk, Stack on stack and Bucherman walk. Mr. Milind Khedkar had conducted OMT session of all F.Y. students with the help of 20 volunteers.
