Introduction:

The fast, intense and ever changing competition imposes to the Institute a challenge of continuously updating its curriculum and faculty to be able to provide state-of-the-art education to the students. Changes, both major and subtle, have been made by the different departments of the Institute, to be better prepared for tomorrow. We, at INDIRA, will bring to you a brief profile of one department in every issue, beginning with the Department of Bachelors of Business Administration and Bachelors of Business Management in International Business.

 

The Department of Bachelors of Business Administration is one of the youngest and Bachelors of Business Management in International Business is even youngest constituent units in Indira College of Commerce and Science. The Department offers Undergraduate Programs as BBA and BBM (IB). BBA was established in the year 2004 and BBM (IB) in 2007 respectively with the objective of producing Management professionals of international standards to primarily fulfill requirements of international markets. The department is headed by Dr. Sonali Shrotri.

  1. Application of real life practice and implementation of comprehensive activities help students to develop interpersonal skills.
  2. Conduction of Mock Tests with respect to subject helps students to develop their personality
  3. Conduction of Industrial visit at different ports (national and international ports), as an attempt of helping hand to be acquainted with national and international trade, commerce and management
